Refund policy

General Return Policy

As discussed in the Handmade Disclaimer in the description of each piece, each and every one of my products is handmade by me! Therefore, slight variations in color, shape, and size are to be expected with any kind of handmade product.

With that being said, my number one goal is for you to be 100% satisfied with your order from me!

If you aren't pleased with your order, please email me at nicole@scimioceramics.com within 48 hours of receiving it and I would be more than happy to discuss and evaluate the issue with you. 

In your email, please include:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • The item(s) you'd like to return & why
  • If applicable, photos of the issue with the piece(s) that prompted your return request

Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging in order to be eligible for a return. You’ll also need to be able to provide your receipt or proof of purchase that you received after your purchase (likely via email or text).

* If the return is approved, postage for return shipping is the responsibility of the customer

** Please note that I cannot accept items that are sent back to me without first contacting me to request a return

 

Broken & Damaged Pieces

I am so sorry to hear that your order arrived broken! I do my best to package each piece as carefully as possible, but once they leave my care, I just have to pray that the delivery service holds up their end of the deal!

Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it and email me at nicole@scimioceramics.com within 48 hours of receiving it if there is damage.

In your email, please include:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Photos of the what the box looked like upon delivery
  • Photos of the piece(s) damaged in delivery

Once I receive the necessary info and images, I would be more than happy to send you a replacement piece! Like I mentioned before, my main goal is for you to absolutely love your order.

However, please note that replacement time can vary - if I do not have the piece(s) you ordered completed and on hand, I will need about up to 8 weeks to work on a replacement (not including shipping time)! 

 

Custom Orders, Gift Cards, and Sale (Seconds) Items

At this time, I am not offering custom orders. However, if available in the future, custom orders would not be eligible for returns due to the personalized nature of such items.

Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on gift cards or sale/seconds items at this time.

 

Refunds

As soon as I receive and inspect your return to make sure that everything lines up with what we've discussed, I'll go ahead and issue a refund to your original form of payment within 10 business days.

Please note that it can take several days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund as well, but if the refund exceeds 15 business days, please contact me again (preferably on the same email thread that we've already been using to chat) at nicole@scimioceramics.com!
